Stories for Students

LAMDA Drama /Public Speaking Coach

I’ve successfully run a LAMDA centre at Godstowe Preparatory School since 2004, and in 2011 established the centre for the Stage Coach Schools in Maidenhead, Wokingham and Reading. I am a sought after teacher regularly in residence as a LAMDA/Public Speaking coach at Heathfield School, Ascot and St Joseph’s College. 100% passing; with 87% achieving at the merit and distinction level.

Many students go on to drama conservatories; regularly winning drama scholarships, and recently successful auditions for the National Youth Theatre. The ability to express yourself in a public forum is a core skill which is an essential means of communication and presentation.  Speech and Drama is a skill for life!

Storytelling and Drama workshops

Using storytelling and drama is a great way to engage young people, whether in a primary or secondary setting, improving literacy, confidence, speaking and listening skills.

I create bespoke workshops to fit in with your curriculum or targets. This could be a single workshop to coincide with a specific topic or a series of workshops to build skills over a term or half-term.

An innovative story-based learning program that includes storytelling, creative arts, phonetics, role play, imagination and communication, story writing & a book club for children.
